While Biowareâs MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic was already 20 times better than Star Wars Galaxies for the simple reason that it isnât SWG, these new screenshots certainly donât hurt.
Of course massively multiplayer online roleplaying game screenshots always look a great deal better than the actual game winds up looking, because unless you are a developer playing under controlled conditions you have to deal with lag, your own outdated PC hardware, and the pile of discarded soda cans cluttering up your desk.
The shots actually remind me of a graphically updated version of Funcomâs Anarchy Online, which is a game near and dear to my heart, so that works even more in Biowareâs favor. Hell, if Funcom wonât release a new AO, someone might as well.
