The XL sized Nintendo DSi LL continues its streak as the bestselling piece of hardware in Japan this week, helping to give Nintendo more than half the pie. But the super-sized Nintendo DS’s lead is starting to wane.
Fortunately for Nintendo, its nearest competitor is itself. The Wii is the country’s second bestseller, according to sales tracker Media Create, barely beating out the PlayStation 3. Sony’s console had to settle for third this week, thanks to a 183 unit difference.
Monster Hunter Frontier looks to be doing some good for Xbox 360 sales in the country, keeping Microsoft’s console in the 5000-plus sales zone. This week’s numbers, right here.
