In the midst of Nintendo’s massive barrage of news last night, the House of Mario also announced a new 8-Bit Summer promotion. They’ll be rolling out two old-school games a week on the 3DS’ eShop digital store starting on July 5th, with titles that will include the original Legend of Zelda, Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters and Sonic Blast. Not these games are exactly 8-bit and a few have been available on the Wii’s Virtual Console but it’ll be good to have some of these in portable form.
