Wii Rock Band owners get a healthy does of angsty mumbling today, as seven old tracks from grunge pioneers Nirvana make their way onto the Wii Rock Band Music Store.
The new Nirvana songs for the Wii versions of Rock Band are the same as the ones that appeared on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in October of last year, only a bit later. The new additions are âBreedâ, âLounge Actâ, âOn a Plainâ, âPollyâ, âSomething in the Wayâ, âStay Awayâ, and âTerritorial Pissingsâ, all from the bandâs 1991 album Nevermind. With âIn Bloomâ from Rock Band and âDrain Youâ from Rock Band 2, this leaves Rock Band Wii just three songs short of a complete album, lacking only âLithiumâ, âCome as You Areâ, and âSmells Like Teen Spiritâ â arguably three of the best tracks from Nevermind.
