GameStop has been taking PS4 preorders for a while now, with nary a mention of âlimited stocksâ or word on first-day guarantees. Seems the time has come to bring that little deal to an end, because you canât preorder the system from the retailer any more.
A notice on GameStopâs site says theyâre âsold outâ, and is pointing interested customers towards a mailing list
A statement issued to Game Informer â which GameStop owns â reads âDue to high demand for the system, GameStop is not currently taking additional store reservations for the PlayStation 4â.
Sucks if you were holding out, but thenâŠitâs a launch-day deal. If you were still holding out in July, you canât have been that serious.
