Nothing Says Summer Like Japanese Jock Itch Commercials

Each summer, dermatology company Ikeda Mohando rolls out a new series of jock itch medicine commercials. They are… unforgettable.

The Delicare M’s cream commercials really make the best of a rather unpleasant topic (sweaty balls!). They’re playful and funny, with earlier ads getting attention online a few years back. And yes, these ads are broadcasted on regular television.

Directly above, that’s pop star T.M. Revolution singing, “It’s so miserable and… I want to scratch. But, I don’t scratch. Now is the time for your groin. Delicare M’s.” The jock itch song is actually a reworking of his song “Phantom Pain.” Well, that’s somewhat fitting.
