You know those singing, dancing robots at childrenās entertainment restaurants like Chuck E. Cheeseās? The ones whose eyes are unblinking, bottomless pools of rancid death? Yeah, Five Nights at Freddyās is a game about watching them. At night. Greaaaaat.
I mean, look at this:
and this:
This one has its fair share of cheap-ish jump scare āscreamerā moments, but the real tension comes from frantically switching between cameras and monitoring this slice of pizza-scented hell with a very limited power supply.
Sometimes Freddybear and his friends end up away from their proper places. Those are bad times.
Five Nights at Freddyās is on Steam for $4.99 right now. Once you figure out its ins and outs, itās a fairly lightweight experience (each night is less than ten minutes long⦠if you surviiiiive), so the price tag is a pretty good fit. Now if youāll excuse me, Iām gonna continue never going to places with dancing animatronic animals ever, ever again.
