Battlefield Heroes, my favourite Battlefield game, died an inglorious death when it tried to walk a free-to-play tightrope and fell clean off. It was a cool game with incredible visuals, though, so of course a group of fans have salvaged the code and brought it back.

Revive, who have already done similar work with Battlefields 2 and 2142, are putting the finishing touches on Heroesā comeback. Hereās some footage of the game in testing:
Playing Heroes without all the F2P bullshit that killed it sounds like a real good time, so Iāll definitely be keeping an eye on this.
