On German TV, They’ve Unveiled A New Dreamcast Game

The Spike Video Game Awards have Neil Patrick Harris hosting and some 13 world premieres? Big deal. German broadcast 3Sat just showed a new game for the long-dead (guess not!) Sega Dreamcast.

The game is called Sturmwind. It’s a an arcade shoot-em-up, a genre that people keep stubbornly supporting for the Dreamcast, even though Sega stopped making the console almost a decade ago. The game is scheduled to be released in the middle of 2011 by Munich, Germany-based Redspot Games. Practice you German by watching Redspot chief Max Scharl reveal the game in a segment about underdogs that aired on Sunday.
