PC Sales Charts: Sales Screw Everything Up

They do! While the NPD charts are, grimly, business as usual, the Steam and Direct2Drive charts are a mess, courtesy of some weekend sales.

HAWX? Assassin’s Creed? Far Cry 2? Great for the publishers and those gamers picking up some older games on the cheap, but for the hardcore PC sales charts enthusiast, it just screws up their complicated sales trend spreadsheets.
