PixelJunk Shooter will be the first title in Q-Gamesâ series of PlayStation Network games to get a proper sequel, with âeverything and the kitchen sinkâ going into PixelJunk Shooter 2.
Q-Games president Dylan Cuthbert outs the shooter sequel in a post on the PlayStation blog today, indicating that PixelJunk Shooter 2 is currently in full production, implementing features that were left on the drawing board for the first game, along with features new to the PixelJunk series in general.
While Cuthbert kept things vague, he did talk about the future of the PixelJunk Shooter series, indicating that number 2 could likely be the end.
Iâm pretty sure we wonât make a Shooter 3 because everything and the kitchen sink (probably quite literally) is going into Shooter 2.
As for elements new to the PixelJunk series, could Shooter 2 finally see the introduction of online multiplayer? More information on PixelJunk Shooter 2 will be revealed in the future. Hmph.
