Itâs once again time for Sony to unveil which games are being added to its PlayStation Plus service and its various tiers in the second half of March. The list features some solid choices, including a Jak and Daxter game, the Resident Evil 3 remake, a DC Lego adventure, and one of my favorite Marvel games of the last decade: Midnight Suns
Every month, PlayStation Plus subscribers get a few free games. How many you have access to depends on which tier youâre paying for as part of the companyâs revamped and more-convoluted-than-it-needs-to-be-system
On March 13, PlayStation announced which new games Premium and Extra subscribers will be able to play starting on March 19. At the top of the list is Marvelâs Midnight Suns. This turn-based comic book game blends some light life-sim-like elements, including romance and dates, with fun-as-hell tactical combat that has you kicking cars at classic Marvel villains like Venom. It also features a compelling narrative that feels unlike anything youâd normally see in the MCU, which is rather refreshing. Donât let its card-based action scare you away, this is a fantastic game and worth playing, even if you arenât the biggest superhero lover
Also, shoutout to Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier coming to PS4 and PS5. Itâs nice to see the PSP/PS2 sequel getting some more love and itâs also just nice to see PlayStation remember that it owns colorful and silly franchises, and not just open-world games and live-service things.
Anyway, hereâs the rest of the list. Oh, and as always, keep in mind, that if you pay for just the Essential tier, you donât get any of these games. This is just for Premium and Extra subscribers.
