Why compare your console to the competition when you can compare it to vegetables?
The latest Japanese PS3 commercial does just that, putting the PS3 in a ātalkā with green onions. Tongue planted firmly in cheek, the oddly humorous ad shows all the things the PS3 can do as well as the variety of dishes that can be made with green onions. Delicious.
While you canāt play video games or watch movies on a green onion, you can eat it! You cannot eat a PS3.
Well, at least I donāt think you can. Maybe if you were really hungry? No, you cannot eat a PS3. Sony loses on that front. Green onions FTW.
Instead of blatantly comparing the PS3 to the competition, this commercial offers an interesting and original work around.
And look at how the ad wizards got the PlayStation circle, triangle, square and X into äøēäøč½åƾč«. Clever!
