One UK game studio tells website Develop that the PSN shutdown left the dev with âabsolutely no revenuesâ for a week. The concern is what happens when the PSN does finally go back online.
âWhat weâre concerned about is how many people are going to come back after the PlayStation Network comes back online,â the developer, who asked to remain anonymous, said.
âThere may be a lot of people who wonât want to spend their money through PlayStation Network now. Weâre expecting a 5-10 per cent drop in business.â
According to Sony, the entire credit card database was encrypted, and thereâs no evidence it was compromised. Today, Sony said it is âinitiating several measures that will significantly enhance all aspects of PlayStation Networkâs security and your personal data, including moving our network infrastructure and data center to a new, more secure location, which is already underway.â
