Double Fine head Tim Schafer is just as baffled as the rest of us at news that Markus āNotchā Persson wants to fund a Psychonauts sequel
āI just woke up,ā Schafer told me when I asked what he thought. āIs something strange going on?ā
The legendary designer responsible for games like Grim Fandango and Day of the Tentacle responded to a barrage of tweets in classic Tim Schafer style.
āMan, so many tweets,ā he later wrote on Twitter. āI assume this is all people asking for codes to Happy Action Theater and Rise of the Martian Bear?ā
āOh wait,ā he continued. āHm. This is interesting.ā
Clearly this is all just Twitter goofing for now, but weāll keep hounding Schafer for a more serious response.
Update: Double Fine has sent official word to Giant Bomb, telling the gaming website that āTim and Markus are talking. Who knows what might happen?ā
