Red Xbox 360 Appears In Retail Listings

In January, rumours surfaced regarding a special, limited edition red Xbox 360 that would be released in conjunction with Resident Evil 5. Over the weekend, that Xbox 360 turned up in retail databases.

A reader ā€“ an employee of Toys ā€˜Rā€™ Us ā€“ sends us this pic, snapped from his storeā€™s database. If itā€™s correct, it reveals that the console is in fact an Elite, being priced at $399 (and, well, it says ā€œEliteā€ up the top). As for the rest of the supposed bundle, or the release date, who knows, the extras might be a pack-in at TRU not in the system, they might only be available at other retails. Weā€™ll find all that out in good time.
