Some awesome news yesterday for anyone whoâs going to this yearâs Coachella: Swedish punk legends Refused are getting the band back together and will be playing at the show.
If you donât know why this is good news, see above.
Formed in 1991, Refused broke up in 1998 just as their masterpiece, The Shape of Punk to Come, was making people lose their shit. Cue over a decade of Refused being yet another of those bands that everybody hears about only after they break up, something the kids of the 2000âs can rectify by taking advantage of the chance to see them live.
If you live anywhere near California, you should try and check âem out. If you live in Europe? Thatâs cool, itâs been announced theyâre playing Swedenâs Way Out West festival as well.
