See, before he went up to present the prizes for the Smash Bros Invitational, Fils-Aime had confessed at the end of an interview with Kotaku that his skills were limited.
āI want Kotaku people to know that Smash Bros. on 3DS is awesome, 60 frames per second, a great portable experience. Smash on 3DS is going to be the mechanism by which Reggie Fils-Aime becomes a world-class smash player. Thatās what I want the Kotaku people to know.ā
Yes, he said that. And then he told us his special strategy. Heās going to play as himself using the gameās support for Miis and heās going to use a custom move-list so that his opponents have no idea which moves are coming. We suggested he train for the game and turn it into a reality show.
He laughed.
