Gothic developer Piranha Bytes grants us a look at the environments and atmosphere to be found in their next big role-playing title, Risen.
Risen takes place on a volcanic tropical island, which explains why one could easily confuse the opening of this âMoodâ trailer with an old Far Cry video. The similarities soon end, however, as Far Cry didnât have those birds they keep showing off or those mutant porcupine things. It certainly didnât have little goblin creatures sitting around a campfire. Do you think they timed that one little critterâs standing up to coincide with the whispering of the word âRisenâ, or was that just a happy coincidence for dorks like myself to giggle at?
