The annual New Year’s Day Rose Parade is supposed to be about football. There are flowers in there somewhere, too. But we don’t care about that stuff. We just care about a giant Pac-Man and his Pac-Man marching band.

Sure, it’s a marketing stunt pulled by Namco Bandai and not a spontaneous outpouring of love for the venerable arcade star, but that float is impressive regardless of who stumped up the cash for it.
