For those who donât read/follow comics that closely, know that the Eisner awards are, for want of a better metaphor, the Oscars of comics. Know also that Sam & Max are up for one!
The 20th anniversary edition of the duoâs Surfinâ The Highway is one of four nominees in the running for this yearâs Best Graphic Album â Reprint award, so Sam, Max, all the best! Weâd say you were a shoe-in for this, but then, youâre up against the Hellboy reprints in the category. So youâre probably not going to win it.
But still! As the saying goes, itâs an honour just to be nominated.
