The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is game to be played at night, alone, with the lights out. So Iām playing it in the morning with a group of Twitch friends in my brightly-lit office.
Itās not that Iām frightened or anything. Itās just that I donāt want to yelp in the middle of the night and wake my wife and kids. Thatās a terrifying thought. Compared to that, a supernatural horror adventure about a paranormal investigator searching for a missing child seems like a lovely afternoon in the park.
Is it? Weāll see.
