A Smash player competes in a tournament event while seriously ill
This is a realistic nightmare scenario for me. Some asshole gamer knew that he was ill while the coronavirus pandemic was ongoing, and he decided that he wanted to attend a tournament anyway. I understand there are problems with blaming individuals for systemic problems, but it’s still viscerally distressing to know that there are people out there who don’t care about protecting immunocompromised people and their caretakers.
