Fast Load Times, Spacious Capacity

This tiny but mighty expansion card is designed in partnership with Xbox, which means it exactly works like built-in storage. Once installed, it replicates the Xbox Velocity Architecture to deliver the same ultra-fast load times and high-quality visuals you’d expect from the internal SSD without any slowdowns.

It also supports a huge library of titles across generations, including thousands of Original Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox One games. We’re talking everything from classics like Halo 3 to the latest releases. Another highlight is the Quick Resume feature, which lets you switch between titles instantly and then pick up right where you left off. For instance, if you’re playing GTA solo and get invited to a team match with friends, you can jump to the other game and then come back later to continue exactly where you left things without losing any progress.

This version of the expansion card offers 2TB of extra storage, which is more than enough to house all your favorite games comfortably. Getting started with using the card couldn’t be easier, as all you need to do is insert it into the dedicated Storage Expansion port on the back of your console. After it clicks in place, turn your console on and head over to Settings > System > Storage Devices to confirm the installation.

You can now upgrade the storage of your Xbox at a 20% discount with the current offer. The expansion card offers plenty of extra space, plus fast load times and other handy features that let you play more immersively. If 2TB capacity doesn’t feel sufficient, there’s a 4TB version of the card too. It goes for $550, and while it isn’t currently discounted, we’ll keep an eye out of offers and share if anything changes.
