We get to see behind the scenes at big game development studios all the time. Independent studios working on the sequel to a mod that was made for someone elseās game? Thatās a side of game development we donāt normally get to see.
So itās great to see it in this clip from Unknown Worlds, the team behind Natural Selection, formerly a Half-Life mod and whose sequel, Natural Selection 2, is now a commercial, standalone product.
Whatās especially interesting is how little sheen there is to this. Itās just a bunch of guys, some beards and some lunch, shooting the shit and trying to get a video game made.
Natural Selection 2 is currently in closed beta for the PC.
