Two-and-a-half weeks ago, popular 90âs anime Rurouni Kenshin exploded onto the Japanese cinema scene with the seriesâ first live-action movie. However, that was not the only Kenshin-related item to get a release that week. Sequel to last yearâs Rurouni Kenshin Saisen, Rurouni Kenshin Kansei is a PSP fighting game with a roster of nearly all of Kenshinâs friends and rivals. Moreover, the game covers the entirety of Kenshinâs storyâfrom his time as an assassin in Japanâs last civil war to the final story arc that was shown only in the manga and never in the anime.

Rurouni Kenshin Kansei was released on August 30, 2012, for the PlayStation Portable in Japan. Stay tuned to Kotaku East for the import preview later this week.
