The wild dogs cry out in the night, as they grow restless looking for some solitary company in SimAnimals Africa, EA’s follow-up to their charming animal simulator for the Nintendo Wii and DS.
If you want compelling animal drama, you go to Africa. Natsume knows this, as does Majesco. Now EA is getting in on the action, taking their SimAnimals franchise from the forest to the savannas in SimAnimals Africa. Now gamers can play with and tame animals that in real life would eat them faster than a stoned late-night Denny’s patron downs a Super Slam.

New to the series is the ability to actually play as the animals by feeding them one of more than 70 rare objects. It may sound silly to you, but I find the concept of being able to play as a random zebra incredibly compelling.
SimAnimals Africa for the Wii and DS should be available this fall.
