Final Fantasy XIII on the Xbox 360 and the PS3 are different. But thatâs not all.

According to website Final Fantasy-XIII.net, there are several slight differences between the Japanese version of the FFXIII and the International version:
⢠Vibration: âHowever, how powerful the vibration is has been changed dramatically,â writes the site. âYou seldom feel it during gameplay and when you do, itâs so weak itâs barely worth having.â
⢠Save Points: âIn the Japanese release, when you exit the save menu, you could hold down the analogue stick while the screen quickly switched back to gameplay and youâd immediately start running,â explains Final Fantasy-XIII.net. âNow if you do that youâll stay motionless.â According to the site, players need to release the analogue stick and try once again.
⢠Shroud Menu: This was called the âSmoke Menuâ in the Japanese version and allowed players to run around with this menu open and use it when players saw fit. âNow when you press L1 to open the shroud menu you canât move,â adds the site. âThis means you have to make sure youâre the perfect distance from your target to use an aerosol or the time limit will run out and youâll end up wasting it.â
Not sure why these small tweaks were made for the International version of the game.
