Smash Bros characters wouldnāt fight in real life. Instead theyād do something much worse: argue. Loudly, quietly, passive-aggressively, on Facebook, or entirely silently, in Linkās case. Prepare to watch your childhood heroes be total dicks to each other.
Buzzfeed brings us this video of characters like Mario, Luigi, Link, Zelda, and Pikachu āfighting for real,ā which is to say flying off the handle about every little thing. Itās the sort of thing that tends to happen when people (or cartoon plumbers and electric demigod rats) spend too much time around each other, so this strikes me as pretty accurate. Just, you know, in a profoundly cringe-worthy way.
Oh well. I laughed. That probably means Iām a bad person or that Iām attempting to loudly cover up an emotional reaction after years of co-dependent friendships and relationships that looked eerily similar to this. And yeah, I was dressed as Yoshi for a lot of them. What of it?
