Itās been one hell of a year for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
This video by Peter Vallsten highlights ten of the best Counter-Strike: Global Offensive pro plays of the year. There is, needless to say, some crazy stuff in there. Itās a great watch even if youāre not into Counter-Strike, simply because these players pull of such preposterous shots and turnarounds that anyone can parse them, on some level.
In a year that saw CS:GO both ascend to unforeseen heights as an eSport and sink to new lows of cheater-ly misconduct, itās nice to have something that commemorates the moments most worthy of gnawed nails and exploded hearts. Some of the teams involved might now be cast in a dubious light (please stop digging your hole deeper, Fnatic), but you canāt deny that itās been a damn eventful year.
Hereās hoping for a better (and less unsportsmanlike) 2015. Play on.
