Someone Is Making A Van Helsing MMO

Universal Studios is working on more than just a Michael Jackson game, with word slipping out yesterday that an MMO based on mythical monster hunter Van Helsing is also in development.

Handling the game will be a partnership between SEE Virtual Worlds and Entropia Universe creators MindArk. There’s not much else to tell at the moment, other than the fact some of the monsters featured will include the “Hunchback of Notre Dame, the Phantom of the Opera, Dracula, the Invisible Man, the Mummy and the Creature From the Black Lagoon.”

You mean we can shoot the Phantom of the Opera? In the face? Tempting…

As you can see up above, it won’t be the first Van Helsing game, the last one being an adaptation of the awful 2004 film of the same name.
