Thatās strange, because everything thatās been discussed to this point suggests that because the consoleās āroot keyā has been cracked, there is no quick fix. The key is at the very core of the PS3, well past any area that a simple firmware update should be able to address, and conjecture suggests only future hardware revisions (or some very fancy programming) would be able to address the issue.
