This is Erdrickās Sword. A powerful sword, the blade appeared in the first three Dragon Quest games, earning its spot as an iconic video game weapon. And this spring, you can buy one.
Square Enix is releasing a one-to-one scale Erdrickās Sword for 21,000 yen or US$238. The sword measures over three and a half feet.
This replica is no a metal blade, but rather, itās fiberglass and polyurethaneāwhich donāt sound like materials for a powerful JRPG sword.
But collectors and cosplayers should get a kick out of it. Dunno if theyāll enjoy paying two hundred bucks for it.
