Atari teams with Del Taco to deliver free trial-laden limited-edition Star Trek Online collectorâs cups, with a free Type-8 Shuttle pet for those opting to supersize to the full game.
Visitors to the nationâs number 2 Mexican fast foods restaurant will be able to procure one of four Star Trek Online collectorâs cups with purchase of a âMacho-sizedâ drink. Each cup contains a promo code good for a 48-hour free trial of the game. Customers can stack up to four of the free trial codes, at which point Atari will tack on an additional 48 hours, for a grand total of 10 days of free access to the Star Trek universe.
And should players opt to continue their journey by purchasing the full game after the trial is over, theyâll score a free Type-8 Shuttle pet, which will follow their starship around the galaxy like a legless Aibo.
