In June, Bethesda brought mods to the Xbox version of Starfield. Since then, fans have created a ton of cool and useful mods for the massive, space-faring RPG. And one fan has even started porting Star Wars ships like the X-Wing into Starfield on console.
WhenStarfield launched in September 2023 on PC and Xbox, it received mixed reviews from fans and critics. While many enjoyed the ship-building and improved combat over past Bethesda RPGs, the gameâs empty planets, boring quests, and lackluster space exploration disappointed players looking for the next Skyrim or Fallout 4. Thankfully, PC mods followed quickly after launch and let people improve the game. Then last month, Bethesda brought mods to Xbox, letting console players tinker with the RPG. And now someone has added a bunch of Star Wars ships to Starfield via console mods.
As first spotted by YouTuber and Twitch streamer Rebs Gaming, Starfield modder Bill-Jones uploaded six spaceships to Bethesdaâs official Creations mod launcher on July 6th. These six ships are fully playable on both PC and Xbox.

This is the list of ships added by Bill-Jones:
X-Wing
N-1 Naboo Starfighter
Mandalorianâs N-1 Starfighter
TIE Advanced X-1
J-Type Nubian Royal Starship
Millennium Falcon
Thatâs quite a roster of Star Wars ships! A big shoutout to Bill-Jones for adding the N-1 to Starfield as itâs one of the coolest-looking ships from the franchise and is my personal favorite.
Getting these ships to work in Starfield isnât too tricky. You will need to first download a separate mod that tweaks how ship building works. Then you can follow this video guide by Rebs Gaming that shows how to actually build the pieces needed to make the N-1 starship. (It works similarly for the other mods, too.)
Adding Star Wars content to Starfield via mods has become very popular over the last few months. We recently saw one content creator use over 100 mods to basically turn Bethesdaâs space RPG into a Mandalorian game. And if you peruse Bethesdaâs official mods launcher you can find a ton of other Star Wars-themed mods that are now available on console, including lightsabers.
Now that I can wield a lightsaber and fly around in my favorite spaceshipâthe N1-Naboo StarfighterâI might finally have a good reason to play more Starfield on my Xbox Series X.
