Street Fighter Online Goes Offline

Computer title Street Fighter Online: Mouse Generation is played entirely with mouse controls, with left-clicks for punches, right-clicks for kicks and special attacks performed by mouse movement. Soon that will be was played.

The Capcom-licensed, Daletto-developed game for Windows goes offline on August 31. The official reason for the game’s service ending is ā€œdue to various reasons. ā€ Those reasons were not explained further than that.

We’re betting that besides the perplexing idea of playing Street Fighter with a mouse, the revolting look of the characters has something to do for it. The designs are based on Kaiyodo’s ā€œRevoltechā€ action figure system, one that allows for maximum posing flexibility. In SFO:MG, players are able to swap body parts for custom avatars.
