This hack, by SMILEuser96, flips the gameās map on its side, but leaves Samus and your enemies properly oriented (so only the level is tilted, not your entire view).

Sounds simple, but it completely changes the way you approach the game, since the intended routes to doors and through rooms have now been flipped. Hope youāre good at wall-jumps, because youāre gonna need āem.
If you want to try it out you can get it here; there are a few spots where you can still get stuck, but for the most part itās not just playable, but beatable.
