Iâm a big fan of Super Motherload, and I was really looking forward to the co-op mode. After messing around in singleplayer, it seemed like it would be too easy, so I was determined to beat it on Hardcore. What a mistake.
I played with my friend Rob, and despite how it may seem, we really gave an honest attempt at not digging too far and EXPLODING. Because thatâs what happens when you run out of fuel. You EXPLODE. The problem is that both players share a fuel tank, but the tank capacity isnât expanded to compensate for the extra players. Half the time, we died before we could even gather up enough cash for the first upgrade.
Despite all this, we still played for several more hours on normal mode, so itâs definitely not all bad.
