āSuperstition, myth, and religion offer rationales that fill in the empty spaces between performance and results.ā Thatās Ian Bogost being his transcendent self in an excellent essay on the Flappy Bird sequelSwing Copters for The Atlantic. Much like his earlier piece on Flappy Bird, this comes highly recommended.

Also: have you been playing Swing Copters? I canāt decide if itās terrible or amazing yet. Iāve also been playing both the iOS version, which was updated to lessen the (insane) difficulty, and the Android one, which is still insanely difficult. I have to admit that I prefer the Android one, but I can also barely play it.
