Iām running on no sleep Ash, NO SLEEP!
Well, thatās not exactly true. I went to bed about 4:30 a.m. and woke up about 7 a.m. So Iām actually running on two and a half hours sleep. Phhhh, thatās plenty.
Did I ever tell you about the time when I went on a sleep-free marathon? Downing so much caffeine over the course of, I donāt remember how long, that I was days and days and days without sleep? It was weird, I became convinced, seriously convinced, that sleep wasnāt necessary. That sleeping was an addiction and being tired, withdrawal.
I started hallucinating and eventually passed out, completely passed out, behind the steering wheel of my car. Fortunately, it was safely parked in the parking lot of my college. Best 20 minutes of sleep I had in my life.
