Take a Good Hard Look at Planetside 2

The countdown has ended and Sony Online Entertainment has pulled back the curtain on Planetside 2, the sequel to the ambitious 2003 massively multiplayer online first-person shooter.

While we’ll have more on the new game tomorrow morning, from the assets alone you can easily determine that the three factions from the original game – Terran Republic, Vanu Sovereignty, and the New Conglomerate – will be making a return, charging headlong into heated battle for the control of whatever it is they’re fighting over. Saying anything else would be telling, and there’ll be plenty of time for that tomorrow morning.
