Cosplay photos are normally taken in a studio, or on a set, or from the relative safety of a convention floor. Rarely do we get to see people dressing up as their favourite characters and actually going to the kind of desolate and wild places their favourite characters do battle/hang out.
So top-shelf cosplay photographer Anna Fischer has decided to run a Kickstarter campaign called The Wild Places, which will take a bunch of cosplay superstars out into the âwild American landscape for a collection of incredible portraitsâ.

When itâs done, most of the photos will be available for viewing online, with select images available only to backers of the project.
