Reader Kevin was at Valveās DOTA International tournament last month, and while there got in line for some autographs from the gameās voice actors.
While waiting for his turn, he had a flash of inspiration
His brother Robin, whose birthday was coming up, was a massive Team Fortress 2 fan. And many of that gameās voice actors were right there, since theyād also done work for DOTA 2.
So Kevin hastily wrote down some short scripts in his notebook and, in a triumph of fan service, got the actors behind characters like the Heavy and Sniper (not to mention GlaDOS/TF2ās announcer herself, Ellen Mclain) to record a birthday greeting for Robin.
