A little over three years ago, I shelled out two plus grand for a MacBook Pro. And while I’m going to continue using Macs, I’m never going to do that.
Over the weekend, my computer croaked. It’s been acting strange for about three months, and it finally gave up the ghost. Considering how much I work my machines, three years is a good run, I guess, and I went a bought another Mac, but I got the cheapest MacBook Apple sells.
The specs continue to get better and better, and it’s getting harder and harder to justify the expense. I think I’m going to eventually get a desktop, too, as a back-up. Or make this MacBook my back-up. Whichever.
But I’m definitely not gonna pay two grand for a machine! No way.
