Activision has released the finalized list of songs for Guitar Hero: Van Halen, featuring 28 tunes from the David Lee Roth era of the band, not a Sammy Hagar (or Gary Cherone) vocal track in sight.
Included, according to a reveal from MTV Multiplayer, are classic Van Halen tracks such as âRunning With The Devil,â âAinât Talkin Bout Love,â âJamieâs Cryinâ and âPanama.â There are even three Eddie Van Halen driven solos, including the guitar controller melting âEruption.â
Of course, there are also a few tracks from other artists, including classic rock staples like Foreignerâs âDouble Visionâ and Queenâs âI Want It All.â
In an unusual move, Activision has decided to release Guitar Hero: Van Halen on December 22, perhaps hoping for impulse/panic purchases from last minute shoppers. Canât imagine Diamond Dave would be too happy about that decision.
