Iā€™ve never really owned little dogs before. Iā€™ve had retrievers, shepard mixes, a Great Dane, a doberman, greyhound, a Border Collie, but never a tiny dog. Not until LittleFoot, Tristanā€™s long-haired Chihuahua mix.

Theyā€™re cute, but man did they figure out how to get into things they shouldnā€™t. For instance there was the time LittleFoot managed to wedge himself entirely under our couch and couldnā€™t get out until I lifted it and pulled him free. Or his occasional walks across our coffee tables. But today was a new one. My wife walked into the dining room to find him standing in the middle of the dinning table just looking at her.

Funny thing, when I was a baby I used to do the exact same thing. My parents never did figure out how Iā€™d climb into the center of the tableā€¦ even when the chairs were removed.
