Retail shelves welcome our new Korean leaders with Homefront, the much-discussed urban guerrilla shooter starring irregular American troops. Plenty of other big drops this Tuesday also, including Okamiden and Yakuza 4’s North American debuts.
Tuesday (March 1)
Homefront (Xbox 360, PS3, PC) – THQ’s long-awaited shooter pits a ragtag American resistance against a Korean occupational force, with a story brought to you by the writer behind Red Dawn.
Top Spin 4 (Xbox 360, PS3) – 2K Sports’ tennis simulation retools its controls and adds depth to its career mode; both versions will support 3D play. The PS3 version adds PlayStation Move support.
Yakuza 4 (PS3) – One year after its Japan release, the sequel to the highly regarded open-world crime adventure lands on North American shelves.
Okamiden (DS) – Another game getting its U.S. launch after a Japan debut last year, Okamiden brings Amaterasu’s son and the Celestial Brush to the DS’s touch screen.
