They are still making these games.
The Kunio-kun series has been going on for over two decades now and shows no signs of slowing down. Whatever other strange projects Ark Systems gets itself involved it appears little pixel dudes beating up each other will remain constant. Rival Showdown is the latest game in the series to make it stateside after coming out last year in Japan. I have no idea if it’s any good, but there are already two other Kunio-kun games in the works, so whatever I think is irrelevant anyway.
There are so few other games on the docket this week I might just get around to trying it though. Sure, we just got through two months of the year’s biggest releases that barely anyone had any time to play but honestly just the thought of lingering another week on them makes me grow weak and weary. Are we sure Battlefront II game out last Friday and not a century ago?
So yes I might just spend this Thanksgiving eating turkey and stuffing while punching primitive but charming sprites to a pulp. Here’s everything else that’s coming out.
