Tony Hawk, Robomodo Commence Work On “Next Project”

Tony Hawk: Ride was a mess. And that’s putting it kindly. That hasn’t stopped the skating legend from working with the game’s developers again, however, announcing today the roots of their “next project”.

“Just met with @robomodo about our next project”, Hawk wrote on his Twitter account, “and it’s already much better than I expected”. Let’s hope it’s much better than we (and by “we” I mean everyone who played Ride that isn’t Tony Hawk) are expecting.

Considering the failure of Ride both critically and commercially, hopefully both Hawk and Robomodo go back to basics, take a page out of rival series Skate’s books and just focus on the skating.

Without a plastic board peripheral, of course.
