•The Top 20 Video Game Landlords [1Up] I stand corrected. Here’s your wildcard topic for the week. Not only had I never thought of whom I’d paid the rent to in games, I didn’t even know there were 20. Mario Segale, real world landlord to Nintendo of America and namesake of you-know-who, is No. 3.

•Six Hilarious Ways Game Designers Are Screwing With Pirates [Cracked] The awesome part about Ubisoft’s antipiracy troll in Michael Jackson: The Experience – which, on the DS, is highly susceptible to piracy the “backing up of lawfully owned copies” – isn’t just that the soundtrack was replaced by vuvuzelas, the game also disabled the DS’ controls, forcing everyone to listen to it until presumably, they ejected the pirated copy on an R4 cartridge Michael Jackson game they both purchased lawfully and backed up.
